STRONG DIVERSE EXPERIENCED TEAM
NSAI is a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorized Power Marketer in all nine regions of the country to sell electricity, ancillary services and own up to 500 megawatts in each of the nine regions. We are also certified as a Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) by the California Public Utilities Commission. Additionally, NSAI is a certified Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the Small Business Administration and a graduate of the SBA 8(a) program.

LEADERSHIP
NSAI Energy is led by Keith Mathis as President & CEO, and Karen Mathis, CFO. NSAI is certified Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) through the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorized Power Marketer with authorization to sell energy, capacity and ancillary services at market-based rates, in all regions of the United States. NSAI utilizes Power purchase Agreements (PPAs) to acquire and develop renewable energy resources and capacity under the FERC guidelines granted as part of the authorization.
Keith Mathis
Keith Mathis has over 30 years of experience working with public utilities globally moving products, goods and services. He is a 1976 graduate of Centre College, Danville, Kentucky. The guiding principle for our NSAI – LSP team is “to bring the promise of renewable energy to forgotten people in forgotten places.”
Karen Mathis
Karen Mathis, CFO & Co-owner, is a lifelong learner, completing a Master’s of Science in Executive Leadership, at University San Diego in May 2016.
